Sigh No More

Although the band name may sound like a construction company out in the middle of Montana, Mumfors & Sons has produced, in my mind, one of the best albums of the year, Sigh No More. Granted I am not anywhere close to a music critic; I turly enjoy every song on the album, and that is a first for me in a very long time.
Hailing from accross the pond in London, this bands unique folk, rock sound is something that I have not ever really liked. Their lyrics differ from song to song, some having swear words in the chorus like in their hit single Little Lion Man, "But it was not your fault but mine, For it was your heart on the line, I really fucked it up this time, Didnt I my dear?" and others such as in the song Winter Winds "Love, it will not betray, dismay or enslave you/It will set you free." I truly enjoy the assortment of lyrics that this album produces. The album not only has great lyrics but it also seems as if it is one continual song. No one song really overpowers the other.
I can't really say much more about the album, because like I said I am no music critic, but I do urge everybody to check out the album if they are into acoustic, bluegrass, folk, or rock music. They do a great job in combining all of those genres together.
